| Note | There has been a family tradition that her father, Michael Dutton, was Protestant until his deathbed, when the nuns in St John's hospital charmed him into converting. If this is true, he was certainly the "only protestant in the village", so to speak. His parents and all his siblings were baptised, married and buried out of St Michael's (RC) church in Denmark St (apart from the O'Keefe sisters, who married in St John's Cathedral).
